Books and Films with Themes of Atonement:
Themes of atonement and forgiveness have informed our history, culture, and literature for thousands of years. Making a sincere apology for a misdeed, taking pains to make amends, and putting reconciliation before retaliation are actions that can be difficult to master, but are part of a timeless thread that runs through human experience. Here is a list of books and movies with atonement themes. Reading books and watching films that illustrate atonement can be a wonderful opportunity to learn about the process, showing how to heal damaged relationships and make them more fulfilling.
The Seven Practice of Atonement:
The Seven Practices of Atonement are based on the life work of the 17 contributors to Beyond Forgiveness: Reflections on Atonement. These practices can lead to a genuine change of heart and a more compassionate and balanced life.
